It is again time for some earrings, guuuurlz! I made these boho earrings with spirals a while ago in silver and I wear them aaaall the time. They look awesome with a messy bun! So today I’ll show you how to create them yourself! In GOOOOLD 🙂

Es ist mal wieder Zeit für ein paar Ohrringe, Mädeeeeels! Diese boho Ohrringe mit Spiralen haben ich schon vor einer Weile in silber gemacht und ich trage sie wirklich ständig. Sie sehen super aus mit einem messy bun (unordentlicher Dutt)! Heute zeig ich dir, wie du diese Schönlinge selbst machen kannst! In GOOOOOLD 🙂

LET’S GO

Just take the beginning of your wire. You don’t need to cut anything off. Bend the wire with the smallest part of the round nose pliers just a little bit, so that you get a C-shape. Then use the flat nose pliers and gently press the C together. The start of the spirals is the hardest. Maybe you’ll need a few tries if you are starting. I recommend watching THIS VIDEO. For me it was very helpful.

Nimm einfach den Draht, du musst nichts abschneiden, das kommt dann später. Bieg den Draht mit dem kleinsten Teil der Rundzange um die Hälfte rum, sofass eine C-Form entsteht. Dann drückst du vorsichtig mit der Flachzange das C zusammen. Der Anfang von Spiralen ist immer das schwierigste. Vielleicht brauchst du ein paar Anläufe, wenn du das erste Mal Spiralen machst. Ich kann nur DIESES VIDEO empfehlen. Das hat mir total geholfen.

Again bend the wire around and press it together with the flat nose pliers. Repeat this until the spiral matches your desired size. Use the VIDEO mentioned above, it explains EVERYTHING 😉

Biege den Draht wieder ein Stück herum und drücke ihn dann mit der Flachzange zusammen. Das wiederholst du solang bis die Spirale deiner Vorstellung entspricht. Hier kannst du auch das eben genannte VIDEO benutzen, das erklärt die ALLES 😉

Now bend a circle with the wire. You can also use a tube or something else to get a rounder shape. When you are satisfied leave about 2 cm of the wire and cut off the spiral. Then create a loop above the spiral with the round nose pliers. If you want you can hammer the wire or you can leave it like this.

Jetzt formst du einen Kreis mit dem Draht. Dafür kannt du auch eine Tube oder etwas anderes nehmen, damit der Kreis schön rund wird. Wenn du zufrieden bist, lässt du 2 cm des Drahtes überstehen und schneidest die Spirale ab. Forme dann mit der Rundzange eine kleine Schlaufe über der Spirale. Wenn du magst, kannst du den Draht noch etwas hämmern oder du lässt ihn wie er ist.

If you want to hammer, you have to have a very solid surface. Best is stone or special pads for hammering. I have a window board made of marble and I use that… But pssssst! Don’t tell my landlord! I use THIS hammer and it works for me.

The last step is connecting earring hooks to the loop above the spiral and there you go!

Wenn du hämmern möchtest, brauchst du einen sehr stabilen Untergrund. Am besten ist Stein oder eine spezielle Platte zum Hämmern. Ich habe ein Marmorfensterbrett und hämmere darauf… Aber pssssssst! Sag’s bloß nicht meinem Vermieter! Ich benutze DIESEN Hammer und finde ihn super.

Als letztes musst du nur noch Ohrringhaken mit den kleinen Schlaufen verbinden und schon bist du fertig!
